Jhagadia Copper Limited is the largest producer of LME Grade “A” Copper Cathodes, using secondary smelting route in India. The Company is empowered by Technical Know how from Global Leaders.

Jhagadia Copper is set up in technical collaboration with Outokumpu Technology AB (formerly Boliden Contech AB), Sweden. The smelter uses Top Blown Rotary Converter (Kaldo) as its main furnace, which allows flexibility in usage of raw materials. The capacity of plant is 50,000 MT per annum of Copper Cathodes conforming to LME Grade “A” specification and additional 20,000 MTA of Copper Anodes.

Jhagadia Copper has most elaborate environmental protection measures including zero discharge of effluent, which enables us to treat copper bearing materials covered even under basel convention.

As a Star Export House, Jhagadia Copper has been supplying Copper Cathodes of LME Grade “A” specification to a number of International / Domestic Customers

The company has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 and OHSS 18001:1999 certification for conforming to quality management systems standards, environmental management system standards and occupational health and safety management system standards.
